The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) comes into force on 25th May 2018 which enhances existing laws concerning storage and use of personal information.
Your privacy is important to us and we continue, as we have always done, to safeguard the privacy of all personal information. We do not use personal information for business or marketing purposes and will only contact you to advise you regarding events organised by the committee and matters for urgent prayer.
We collect personal information to enable us to be able to contact you.
The information we hold, which has been voluntarily obtained directly from you, with your consent:-
There is no master database held on one central computer. Data is recorded by the committee members and could be in a hand written register or computer spreadsheet. There is no automated link or consolidation of these separate databases to further maintain data safety.
We never share your information with any third party whether individuals, businesses or any other organisation.
From time to time we may get a request for your address, telephone number or email but such information would only ever be shared if:-
Under GDPR legislation you have the right to request access to any information about you. To make a request for your personal information you should initially contact a member of the committee. The GDPR requires such request to be actioned within 30 days.
